For Sale for the first time, complete, global industrial, trade, employment, price and macroeconomic dataset covering 72 countries, 166 ISIC3 Industries: 1990 – 2030
QuERI Global Industry and Trade Database and models have been developed and refined over the last forty years with a goal of understanding how globalization and changing demand patterns have impacted trade and economic growth. Unlike trade-linked macro models that focus primarily on macroeconomic and financial variables, the QuERI Integrated Global Model has been designed to analyze the changing industrial structures underpinning the world economy and resulting market demand split between interindustry sale, private consumption, business investment, and government spending. Covering 166 ISIC3, 4 digit categories for 72 countries and integrating production, trade, market demand, employment, price, and selected monetary variables in a unified model structure using input-output models to integrate internal patterns of industrial and service demand and trade links to integrate demand across national boundaries, the QuERI models and databases are the most complete and sophisticated from any other source.
QuERI data has been used by major international companies, consulting firms, and international institutions. Today it is one of the largest and most complete proprietary economic datasets available from any source—public or private. A rich source of fully filled in, consistent, data against which to develop models and analyses of trends in commodity demand and the effects of globalized development on countries, it is being made available at prices low enough to make it accessible to a broader audience of users -- non-profit research and educational institutions as well as private companies.
In a few years I will stop maintaining and improving this source of consistent global economic data, before that happens I would like to see it gain wider use in the academic, research institute, government, and even corporate space. I am offering to sell, at reasonable price, the complete, 400,000 series dataset to groups that can maintain, expand, improve, and use this underlying global data for studies and for linkage to financial and market data of private companies.
For non-profits, governments, and individual consultants for internal use the complete databases will be sold for $10,000, private companies for internal use only $15,000 and for secondary distribution $25,000. Complete E-views workfiles with model programs will also be available to companies and non-profits capable of managing a complex econometric model.
To learn if your company, Institute, university, or government qualifies, please read the accompanying pdf explaining in more detail the methodology, data structure, and price, please read the accompanying document. Overview of Data
QuERI forecasts are availalbe to provide insights into market size and competititveness by providing data on individual products showing production, market demand, exports and imports. This data includes analytical information showing per capita consumption and production, share of regional market, and price competititveness. QuERI forecasts are unique because you can purchase data for a single product, catagory of products, or variety of products for one country, or regionally. Are you Hanna the Economist?![]() Hanna is trying to do a strategic study for a client on resource allocation for the maritime shipping industry. She wants to understand which bi-lateral markets are growing, as well as the size of the martitime trade, measured in containers (TEUs). She needs some help.
How QuERI can help: QuERI can provide detailed estimates for more than 9000 trade routes that show commodities transported by ocean freight. Commodity data will allow Hanna to organize sales into key shipping product industries for these routes. For example, QuERI data will show Hanna the five fastest products on the China-US route, which could allow her to direct her sales force to these industries. |
Why do you need this data? Are you Louis, the (frustrated) Analyst?![]() Louis works as a strategic planning analyst for a mid-sized manufacturer of non-organic chemical products in Argentina. Senior Management is interested in possibly entering the Chinese market, and also wants Louis to figure out how to set better sales targets for its Latin American region. Louis doesn't have a large budget to buy data, nor the resources or in-house ability to forecast this information. He is frustrated.
How QuERI can help: QuERI can help Louis by offering simplified tables showing the size of the Chinese chemical market, and growth rate for the industry. QuERI databases and tables can also provide Louis with additional analytical data measuring the competititve position of domestic companies within the non-organic chemical production market. This will help Senior Management figure out not only the potential for growth within this market in China (current size), expected growth (potential for the company), as well as the current competitive nature of in-country producers. If import concentrations are low, this suggests the best approach may be to buy a Chinese company or build a new plant in China rather than to try to penetrate the market through exports. QuERI forecasts can also provide Louis with the information needed for Senior Management to set appropriate sales targets. QuERI forecasts cover nearly all major countries in South America, which allows for cross-country comparisons of country size and potential growth. Louis provides this information to Senior Management at a fraction of the cost of the competition or even in-house analyst salaries. Bonus time! |
